Young male workers 'least likely to address workplace stress'

Young male employees could be more likely to seek help from a personal injury lawyer in Southampton because they are less inclined to do anything about work-related stress. This group of workers are the most reluctant to ask for help when it gets too much, according to Right Corecare. Kevin Friery, clinical director at the organisation, suggested employees with more experience can handle these sorts of problems better. "Maybe older people have the same amount of pressure but don't see it as stress – they see it as pressure that they are more likely to be able to cope with or are more likely to understand where to go for help if it gets out of hand," he said. His comments come after new research revealed the wellbeing of millions of UK workers is being put at risk because they are not finding time to eat properly. A quarter will only take a lunch break if they feel their workload allows it, while 13 per cent of employees skip meals in the workplace altogether, according to the Aviva Health of the Workplace report.
