Young people are "unaware" of importance of will writing

Young private clients are unaware of the importance of writing a will, according to an expert.
People in younger age groups are more likely to take an interest in consumer goods and building their own careers rather than focusing on writing a will, according to a spokesman for Just Wills.
David McMaster, managing director of Just Wills, said that companies should consider using new incentives to encourage will writing among younger people and parents should have a will written.
Mr McMaster added: "I would say that anybody who has got children has to have a will in place.
"That is absolutely essential for anybody with children because the will is a document that appoints guardians for those children."
Meanwhile, research conducted by AA Legal Services indicated that 48 per cent of Brits have not yet written a will.
One of the key reasons cited by respondents was the cost and complexity of arranging them.
