Cinema to be part of revamped Liverpool property

An Odeon cinema will be included in the redevelopment of a licensed property in Liverpool.
Odeon already show screenings at the Liverpool One picture house, though now they will be part of a new property after terms were agreed with the Central Village Project, according to the Liverpool Daily Post.
The project is set to encompass retail and leisure units within its development space and the Odeon cinema will host sporting events, opera and live music as well as films.
Robert Ross, chairman of developer Merepark, said that occupiers have responded to the plans with "enthusiasm".
This news comes after Land Securities and the Canary Wharf Group announced that they were embarking on a joint venture to develop the 20 Fenchurch Street E3 building in London.
Robert Noel, managing director of Land Securities' London portfolio, said: "The joint venture brings together two substantial companies with complementary skills in the conception and delivery of large schemes in London."
