BA offers compromise with cabin crews

British Airways has offered a potential commercial dispute resolution compromise with its employees concerning pay.
The new deal will enable cabin crews to gain substantially reduced travel fees, after staff voiced their disapproval with strikes that affected the airline for a total of 22 days earlier this year.
Unite are representing BA's workers and they are expected to ask them to vote imminently.
BA released a statement regarding the proposals, saying: "The offer we have made, based on our previous proposals, is very fair and reasonable and represents a genuine solution to the remaining issues in this dispute."
This news comes after easyJet announced the end of their dispute with easyGroup IP earlier this month.
The dispute regarded intellectual property rights, which had stopped easyJet from practicing ancillary action.
Under the new arrangement, easyJet will also be permitted to engage in co-branding promotions with other important brands in the airline sector.
