Madeline McCann book ban is lifted

A ban on a book concerning the disappearance of Madeline McCann has been lifted, following the conclusion of a previous dispute resolution case with the child's parents.
Maddie: the Truth about the Lie was released by Goncalo Amaral and it suggests that Madeline passed away during her holiday to Portugal, before her parents Kate and Gerry McCann manufactured the notion that she was abducted.
Previously, an injunction was in place that prevented the sale of Mr Amaral's book, though a Portuguese appeal court has terminated the ruling.
The court said that the previous ban had broken "a constitutional and universal right: that of opinion and freedom of expression".
Last month, a family from Nottingham revealed that they were considering starting dispute resolution proceedings after a memorial firm designed a gravestone which did not match their requirements.
Carved in Stone memorials was paid a £1,500 deposit ahead of the gravestone's completion, though construction was still yet to start six months later, according to the Nottingham Post.
The buyers of the gravestone, Mr and Mrs Shakh, have complained to Trading Standards.
