The Legal Service Board investigate unregulated will writing

The Legal Service board is set to investigate issues arising from unregulated will writers in an attempt to improve corporate legal services.
To help the Legal Service's scheme, clients have been persuaded to reveal their problems with unregulated will writers.
These problems can be related to fraudulent activity, misrepresentations, storage problems and dishonest practices, as well as several others.
Any comments by those affected should be sent to the Law Society by October 29th and all instances that are used in the scheme will be made anonymous.
In August, an episode of the BBC's Panorama series focused on private will writing in Britain, which suggested that the industry is in need of improvement.
Scottish minister Fergus Ewing told the programme that Britain should adopt a similar approach to Scotland and ensure that anyone who is charging a fee for writing is regulated.
Mr Ewing added: "I hope that justice will be done for people - throughout Britain, ideally - in protection against crooks, cowboys and conmen."
