Easydate in battle with easyJet over trademarks

Airline easyJet has instigated commercial dispute resolution proceedings with online dating company Easydate in a bid "to protect the Easy name".
Easydate has claimed its innocence by confirming that it has existed for over five years "without intervention or objection from any party".
In addition, Easydate's lawyers have expressed their belief that the two easy companies fail to cause confusion for consumers and that the company has no unfair advantage of using Easydate.
However, easyJet owner Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou has claimed that Easydate is taking an unfair advantage, which is "undeserved" and Sir Stelios has threatened to "take further action to protect the easy name".
Earlier this week, Apple entered a commercial dispute with San Francisco-based Sector Labs in an attempt to prevent the company from using the term "pod", after the company named a video projector, Video Pod.
Apple has claimed that Sector Labs chose the name "in order to capitalise on the fame and goodwill of Apple's mark".
