Many UK citizens 'daunted by financial pressures'

A high proportion of UK citizens are increasingly eager to experience a high quality of life and not simply spend their time worrying about financial pressures.
According to Rhiannon Davies, director of ShelterOffshore.com, some Britons are seeking pastures new as a result of the need to generate a large amount of capital every month.
She said many people are keen to head overseas and live somewhere that has "more emphasis on enjoying life rather than living to work to pay off the credit card, mortgage or debt - which seems to be the normal state of mind in the UK nowadays".
Those looking to obtain legal advice for personal finance matters may agree with the sentiment, with the cost of living with regards to areas such as property at the forefront of many people's minds.
Meanwhile, the NatWest International Personal Banking Quality of Life Report has revealed that 87 per cent of retired expats own their property outright.
