New CBRE letting announced for Glasgow

Commercial property observers might have noted news that CB Richard Ellis' (CBRE) Scotland division has announced it has completed a letting at 169 Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow.
It has undertaken the transaction on behalf of Winston Group, a property investment company located in London.
As part of the plans, the footwear retailer Barratts has renewed its lease to occupy the facility.
Previously, CBRE sold the building for £1.3 million to Winston Group on behalf of Deloitte - and has since been retained as the lettings agent for the site.
Kevin Sims, retail director for CBRE, said: "This letting confirms continued demand for Sauchiehall Street for well positioned units at sustainable rental levels."
Previously, the commercial property group hinted that Chinese buyers are set to replace Russian investors as the biggest movers and shakers in London's prime real estate market.
In fact, it revealed that those using foreign currencies are able to achieve discounts in central boroughs of the capital.
