Sick coal miners seeking personal injury compensation

Those looking to get individual services for work-related legal advice might have noted news that a number of sick coal miners are attempting to get an improved personal injury compensation package.
Leeds County Court is hearing the case of individuals seeking what they consider to be their rightful settlement, as reported by the Law Society Gazette.
The miners argue that they were not given the full amount of compensation they were entitled to, with a total of 18 cases being put forward.
Mellor Hargreaves, an Oldham firm, is representing the personal injury claimants
Previously, the publication produced a report which examined issues of undersettlement for such workers.
It observed that the financial incentives for solicitors to challenge doctors' decisions over compensation were "paltry".
Those intending to make a personal injury claim may recently have noticed that a school in Exeter has been closed due to asbestos risks, as reported by BBC News.
