Flexible working 'a priority for employment-seeking graduates'

Graduates in the UK are increasingly keen to enjoy a flexible working lifestyle as soon as they enter fulltime employment, it has been suggested.
According to a survey commissioned by Orange , 53 per cent of university leavers expect to be able to work outside of traditional office hours or from a location of their choosing.
Overall, 69 per cent of those quizzed indicated that a flexible professional life is a high priority for them.
When broken down into different areas of perceived importance, 69 per cent of ex-students said that learning experiences are a big factor behind picking an employer.
Moreover, happiness was cited by 58 per cent of those surveyed, compared with 51 per cent who are keen to get a good salary above other considerations.
Recently, the British Chambers of Commerce reported that a majority of businesses approve of the government's balance between spending cuts and tax rises, as outlined in the Budget.
