Asbestos-ridden hospital 'could be refurbished'

A hospital in Wales could be refurbished, in news that may have caught the attention of those making an asbestos compensation claim.
Glan Clwyd Hospital at Bodelwyddan - near Rhyl - does not meet fire safety standards and has previously been subject to a £300 million demolition and rebuilding plan, BBC News reports.
Now it appears the facility could be refurbished instead in order to bring the building up to scratch.
Neil Bradshaw, executive director of planning at the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, said the team is committed to the idea of revamping the centre.
He is also quoted by the news provider as stating: "The safety of staff, patients and public remains our top priority, and monthly air monitoring below ceiling level is in place to ensure that safety is maintained."
Getting the advice of a solicitor might be an ideal way for anyone making an asbestos compensation claim to gain further information.
