Access to finance 'not available for firms with cash flow issues'

An expert has suggested that banks are not putting forward sufficient financial access for many firms.
Mario Lafond, director at BrightSet Media, outlined the need to make funds available for those looking to put their business ideas into practice.
He said: "The banks are saying they are giving a lot, but it seems to be not helping a lot of companies with different cash flow issues."
Mr Lafond added that although such a strategy might be implemented soon, "far more could be done".
The news may have been noted by anyone looking for information with regards to corporate insolvency matters.
Recently, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills launched a paper to address the problems firms face in respect of access to finance.
As part of the process, the business secretary Vince Cable and the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne will gauge the opinions of those within the financial sector.
