Residential property conveyancing: 'Choose home improvements over holidays'

Those seeking individual services for residential property conveyancing might be interested by one expert's assessment of how homeowners can add value to a house.
According to Andrew Leech, director at the National Home Improvement Council, people would be well-advised to spend money on household improvements rather than use such funds for a holiday.
With regards to news that B&Q has witnessed a drop in like-for-like sales of 4.4 per cent during the start of the summer, he said: "It is mainly because people are perhaps a bit worried about their rising household costs."
Mr Leech went on to assert that making such adjustments to a dwelling should be a priority for property owners, especially in the current economic climate.
One way in which householders appear to be adding value to their property is by focusing on their gardens.
He said that people are "probably looking at doing a bit of extra decking or a patio in order to have somewhere decent to sit out on".
