Fall in consumer confidence may chime with personal insolvency advice seekers

People who have received advice for personal insolvency matters may have noted news that consumer confidence appears to be on the wane.
In fact, the latest such survey from Nielsen and the British Retail Consortium has recorded a drop of two points to 78 - the first decrease since April 2009.
Among the questions posed by the quarterly study were queries related to job prospects and personal finance issues.
Justin Sargent, group managing director at Nielsen's UK & Ireland operations, stated: "Our survey tells us that consumers are starting to feel more worried about jobs and money and debt and this is a concerning turn of events."
He added that consumers are thinking about the possibility of a double-dip recession - and it is hoped sentiment will improve.
Consulting the advice of a solicitor might be an ideal way of ensuring personal debt is kept to a minimum over the months ahead.
