Life 'could be made easier for bankrupts'

When looking for a commercial debt recovery solicitor, one expert's comments with regards to bankruptcy may ring true with individuals.
In a piece published on MSN Money UK, Neil Faulkner highlighted how a sensible approach to reducing the stigma associated with those who suffer personal insolvency is desirable.
He said there have been a number of reports that have touched upon the harm done to people's personal lives by such financial troubles, claiming the studies found "we should actually be making things better for bankrupts, not harder".
Mr Faulkner went on to assert the importance of "better financial education" and the introduction of measures designed to make lending "more responsible".
The expert cited figures from the Consumer Credit Counselling Service which showed that 90 per cent of those with debt problems feel their close relationships have been adversely impacted by the issue.
Meanwhile, the Office for National Statistics recently revealed that public sector debt rose to £14.5 billion in June.
