Divorced fathers make equal parenting rights protest

A group has staged a protest outside the home of an MP concerning equal parenting rights.
New Fathers 4 Justice members gathered outside the home of Huntingdon MP Jonathan Djanogly to call for better access to their children following a divorce, the Cambridge News reports.
Dressed in superhero costumes, the individuals set up camp by the politician's residence because, as undersecretary of state at the Ministry of Justice, they believe he will play a significant role in future family legislation.
Mr Djanogly took up his current position in the Conservative/Liberal Democrat coalition after the general election last month.
Commenting on the initiative, a man who referred to himself as Captain Equality said: "We are going to be right on his case because he has a key part in this."
He added: "If he fobs us off we will come back and it will not be so humorous next time."
The man went on to state that his group is seeking an automatic presumption of 50-50 status between parents after a divorce.
