Market for green commercial property 'set to recover'

The market for commercial property that fulfils eco-friendly criteria is likely to pick up, it has been suggested.
According to Mike Southall, national sales manager at Buderus, while demand from corporate clients has dropped off slightly, this trend should be reversed, Free Office Search reports.
He said: "We feel fairly confident that it will pick up and the busy time for us is always going to be July and August because that is the shut down period in schools and some offices."
According to the expert, green commercial property has advantages over offices that lack such features and occupiers can gain from giving premises an environmentally efficient transformation.
In a recent warning, Andrew Jackson from Standard Life Investments suggested that the commercial property sector in the UK is likely to experience another dip between now and the end of the year, Citywire.co.uk reported.
He claimed there will be "a bit of weakness" during the second half of 2010.
