Unrest in Jamaica 'may cause insurance confusion'

Consumers may not know what they are insured for if they are heading abroad to Jamaica, the head of travel at Confused.com has said.
Making his comments in response to reports of civil unrest in the country, Steve Williams noted that people travelling there must check their level of cover.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office - which is the government department responsible for promoting British interests overseas - has declared a state of emergency in response to violence that has erupted as police and the army clash with citizens.
Mr Williams remarked: "Different policies are tailored to suit different types of traveller and as a result there is a large amount of variation amongst providers and what they are willing to cover."
People who ignore warnings and advice before jetting off to destinations outside the UK risk problems in getting compensation in the event of a disaster, he added.
