People 'should bequeath passwords in wills'

Individuals should ensure they make arrangements to bequeath their passwords for online accounts when they die, it has been suggested.
According to Jeremy Toeman, people increasingly own so-called "digital possessions" such as financial accounts and domain names which can only be accessed over the web by the use of passwords, the Financial Times reports.
Commenting on his own situation, the businessman said: "All the billing is electronic and my wife would never be notified about them if I died."
He has established a service which allows consumers to save passwords and have them passed on to a nominated person upon their deaths.
According to Mr Toeman, he now has around 10,000 customers using his site and many of them pay for a premium offering, suggesting demand for such facilities is high.
Last month, Remember A Charity published research which suggested that more than six in ten (62 per cent) of consumers polled in the UK would like the opportunity to leave a video will.
