| HISTORY Lamport Bassitt was established over 130 years ago by Charles Lamport who was well known in Southampton as an able advocate. In 1912 the firm handled all of the workmen’s compensation claims arising out of the sinking of the Titanic. Lamport Bassitt has enjoyed a steady increase in size to its present 120 staff. In 2000 the firm opened an office in Reading and in 2007, a second office in Southampton. |
